Well they looked very good on 3rd down last week too...they were something like 10-13 at one point until Smith went down if I remember correctly.

Wow! Good job, defense!!! What a play! Jumping over a blocker and then smacking the ball out of the ball carrier's hand before you land.
 
Wow so far so good...nice gameplan and great execution. Let's see how the rest of the first half plays out. Hopefully the half doesn't cause a momentum change. Thompson is playing very well!
 
Purcell is getting a LOT of pressure on. They have two guys on him on almost every down - and when they don't, he gets through.
 
Pass defense torched twice by the nations weakest passing offense shit makes no sense, We give up 203 rushing yards to the nations weakest rushing team Idaho. We hold the nations 2nd best rushing team to 127 yards last week, This week we hold the nations best rushing team to 57 yards in the first half........

How the hell does this even make sense anymore we control the best teams in the nation in what they are known for and give up crazy yards to shitty running teams and we give up crazy passing yards to teams that aren't even known for throwing the ball.

I can't even figure this shit out anymore at all.

It's because we sell out to one or the other. Our secondary's not strong enough to cover one on one.
 
Our offense has been a huge reason AFA hasn't run the ball very well. If AFA had more possession, they would have a lot more yards. Triple option is like Barry Sanders...gets stuffed often but is designed to eventually pop.
 
What an enjoyable game to watch! I thought AF would have about 230yds on the ground right now. Pleasantly surprised. The Thompson guy is smooth and collected. A good back up for sure.

Really wish he had played against Cal Poly instead... and that they had kept him in vs Nevada.

More so wish when Thompson was in against Nevada they would have allowed to let him play like they have today if they would have turned him loose we would have won.

For sure. But then again, who knows how much he's grown just in the past week. DC probably knew they'd have to start him, so he's been getting reps with the number ones.
