A. A fun creative writing exercise.
B. Proof that crystal meth and keyboards shouldn't unite.
C. Some sort of combination of the above. With (fill in the blank drug of choice) + a good sense of creative spirit.
D. Our most far gone poster who everyone secretly deep down loves.

I think Fonz just hasn't anything else to do, sittin at his keyboard in the big building up there on the hill above Evanston.

My current state, I can't complain about Shyatt much.

Last year, being in Vegas for the MWC run and my subsequent road trip to Seattle was, literally, one of the highlights of my UW fan career. Watching us dismantle USU, BSU and SDSU was nothing short of amazing.

I owe the majority of that to Coach S.

So, yes, although he isn't immune from criticism, I am still riding high from last year. And to top it off, seeing Nance's success in the NBA is icing on top. He has proven to me he is committed to UW.

This! This! 1000 x This!

Last year's run was amazing. For fuck sakes, if you bitch about Shyatt and his performance here, you just like to bitch.

Dismantle meaning to "take down," not so much meaning to rip apart. Anyway, yeah, either way...

it was fun to see this team "TAKE DOWN" arguably the three best teams in the conf back to back to back.

Shouldn't have the words "regular season" been in the title so you don't look stupid?

If you were in the ACC or the PAC the regular season championship means more. In the MW the tourney is THE deal. I've been to 10-12 conference tourneys to watch wyo. didn't go to last years. I thought Wyoming would win 3-4 of the times I went. I hoped they'd win 8-10 times. Last year they won it. Period.

Should've read more closely. Did the original poster ever come out and say he made a retarded thread or does he believe somehow that shyatt will never win the mw

The original post has some points. I don't agree with most of it though. I think SeattleCowboy and his long post basically summed it up.

We have been close several times. We got the tourney title last year. I really think here in the next year or two, Shyatt will have the depth and experience he needs on his roster.

It took him 5 years to build last years senior class. He didn't have enough talent in the backfill. He will soon.

I commend the coach for his fire (getting reprimanded by the mwc for their stupidness), his ability to recruit good players, and the fact he is a good, decent person, a good representative of the State of Wyoming, and his ability to win games.

I do think he did toss some games in the fire this year to evaluate talent and get playing time in. And that is just fine with me. Its not like we are expected to do well in the MWC this year. Its a good time to take all of your players, play them, and evaluate them. If he didn't - well, he still has a pass with me.

I agree with your post that OP made a stupid post but I disagree with the bolded part. I still think the regular season championship means more in the Mtn West. It is a bigger accomplishment to win over the course of the season than one weekend. I mean the tournament championship is still a championship and deserves praise but I still put it behind the regular season as far as accomplishments. Shyatt will have us a regular season championship within 5 years.

I totally agree with you here. The regular season MWC champ has never missed the dance and its just an awesome accomplishment. I think this was the original poster's main gripe. He doesn't think we can win the regular season crown under Shyatt. I don't really believe that either. Hell we could do this year if we get red hot, the league is so far down this year it feels wide open. Shy has also proven that he's gonna be consistently flirting with the top 6 spots in the league. Regular season title may or may not happen but I don't think I'm even gonna care for another 3 seasons by which time I bet even more success will have occurred.

I don't see us beating out either SDSU or Boise Sr. for the regular season championship this year; beyond that, I don't think there is any team that we don't have a puncher's chance against. We could finish anywhere from 3rd to 8th this season and it wouldn't shock me a bit.

If we keep our current roster intact, however, I think we are looking good for a top-3 finish next year, and a title in 2017-2018.

I agree that we probably won't catch SDSU, Boise, or New Mexico but it's not out of the question. We need a little help and we'd have to rattle off about 8 wins in a row. This team is starting to do that Shyatt thing once again. We just keep seeing improvement game by game. Most importantly a team that grinds to the end of each game. We are dangerous on a reloading year and that's fucking awesome!
