I don't think there will be one posted (Division II opponent). At least in Vegas...

UNC moved up several years ago. Although UNC did lose to a Division II opponent this past weekend.

I'm hoping Brett Smith doesn't play any more than a half.

FCS now? Looking at their schedule . . . oh my.

Looks like the line opened at -27 . I could see us getting a 4 touchdown lead at half and then winning by less...but that seems to be a favorable line toward UNC.

It wasn't that long ago that we lost to Cal Poly, so I am just hoping for a good win that will boost our confidence, everyone getting out healthy, and possibly some 2nd and 3rd team play so we can build our depth. I hope BS only has to play for 6 series. up 42 and take the pads off. Will this game be streamed anywhere?

I'm with you Dutchnation. Get a solid win, stay healthy and get some good experience out of the game. There's no need to try and beat the score of the last time these two teams played...

This is part of the problem with our team and fans. Everyone bitches that we take the foot off the gas. Myself, I expect nothing less than to cover the spread every game. There are no other options. You have to teach a killer instinct, and the way to do that is to make sure to put your foot on their throat....and stomp!

I hear the 1st defense was very upset over the 2nd team letting Idaho score...twice. I hope the leaders of this team instill that in the second teams....something to build on. There are no lowered expectations between the 1st and 2nd teams. IMHO.

Hmmm. Good post...but I don't think everyone bitches. Some of our fans are simply clueless. Losing doesn't bother them. That KILLS me.

I don't want to see Wyoming win 10 - 9. I want to see Wyoming win 63 - 0. I want to see ass kickings again. I don't want to have to worry that we pussied out and went conservative, and gave the other team a chance at the end (or let them back in at the end). Last years CSewe game headed that way, and it made me crazy.

My opinion is roughly the same. Keep scoring until a few minutes into the 4th quarter. Once your ahead by 5+ touchdowns in the fourth quarter, there is no reason not to put your second team in. No earlier than the 4th quarter, no less than a 5 touchdown lead.

I think it shows a bit of class, helps get younger players playing time, gives the starters a rewarded break.

The line is -25.5.

Wyoming should be covering that by halftime, maybe even the 1st quarter. UNC is worse than Idaho. It all depends on how long coach lets Brett and the 1st team defense play. I think Wyoming could be up 35-0 or 42-0 by halftime. This would be a game where Wyoming could put up 70 points if they wanted but I doubt CDC will let it get that bad.

This is exactly how I feel. If we've put the game away, why risk a dirty hit out of frustration on Smith or another key player?

Guy on my Facebook went crazy saying Dave was a pussy for not keeping his foot on the gas, up 42-0. Kind of a WTF moment.. why would you risk a starter up by 6 TDs in the 4th?

Being up by 42-0 half way through the 4th, and going for one more passing TD is my definition of keeping the foot on the gas. Dave isn't a pussy for putting in the subs at that point in my opinion.

Was it Bronco Mendenhall?? :) He always seems to try to lay it on deeper than necessary. Gary Patterson was just the opposite - except when he played BYU.
