A lot of chatter on Twitter and online and after the game was about the roughing the passer and targeting penalty that resulted in the ejection of UW senior outside linebacker/nickel D.J. May. That clearly had an impact on the defense, and goes to show you May’s importance. His speed and athleticism — right now — is unmatched at that position.

Utah State football: Aggies can’t overcome first-half nightmare at Wyoming (Salt Lake Tribune)

"At that point, everybody just believed," Hobbs said. "That was one thing we talked about at halftime. Just believing. Believing in each other. Believing in ourselves. … When the score got that close, everybody wanted to go out there and win."

It didn't happen.

Wyoming quickly regrouped, scoring only 41 seconds after Hobbs' third touchdown run of the game and rolled to a 52-28 victory.

* 16th with 1,326 all purpose yards

Tanner Gentry:
* T-21st with eight TD receptions
* 24th with 778 receiving yards.

Josh Allen:
* 24th in passing efficiency (149.3)

That's a good question. NCAA stats are showing McNichols of Boise leading the nation with 20 total TDs and this stat DOES include QBs. Josh has 24 total TDs (6-rush, 1-rec, 17-pass). Did the NCAA drop the ball on Josh?

EDIT: The more I look at it, it looks like "Total Touchdowns" are rushing and receiving only.

17th in points responsible for (146), most in MWC.

That's a good question. NCAA stats are showing McNichols of Boise leading the nation with 20 total TDs and this stat DOES include QBs. Josh has 24 total TDs (6-rush, 1-rec, 17-pass). Did the NCAA drop the ball on Josh?

That's only rushing/receiving (the Louisville QB is 2nd, because he has 19 rushing TDs, which is his entire total).
