I would welcome any Nance to Wyoming with open arms. Larry has been a great ambassador for UW, as well as a great player.

We could for sure have an inside track to the next Nance. Would be great if he ended up a 4 or 5 star recruit and turned down programs like Duke, North Carolina, and Ohio State to come to Wyo.

I have a feeling Pete is going to be harder to get. Already 6'5" as a freshman (I think Nance was around 6'), and scouts have a chance to see how good of a college player the older brother became.

Yeah but the relationship Shyatt has with Nance Sr. is why we got Jr.
As of now, we already have a great relationship with Petes family and the Nance family values that (based off what I've heard with JRs recruiting).

Especially if we get some Tourney runs in by the time he is a junior or senior.

By the way, here's a current picture of Pete on his Twitter page with the quote "I'll give up basketball right after i give up breathing."

Recruit him just for the name alone. The announcers love to mention the name Nance. He couldn't be worse than Sellers.

Do we honestly see any of these players being difference makers next season? How far do we fall with the loss of Nance at the end of the season? Is this January the closest we come to March Madness for the foreseeable future?

I think we'll struggle big time down low. However, I think we'll be better on the perimeter next year. How much better? Hopefully enough to help our bigs find space.

With the speed of Adams, Washington, and possibly Conway and the shooting of gorski, mcmanamen, Lieberman, and possibly James and Marshall coming in I think we'll be very solid at the 3 guard positions.

It'll be nice to have a couple 6'5" to 6'7" guys who can shoot. We got a glimpse of that type of player with gorski and mcmanamen but I'm excited to see Justin James come in and help add depth behind those guys

Are we in a league where we can run a small lineup and have extended success (go the route of Boise State)? Is that Shyatts big picture?
