We make a layup then we give up a layup at the other end, kind of frustrating can't get any closer than 2-4 points. Gotta make a run.
 
3 or 4 straight stupid shots. Nance pulls up for a quick 3 and then Washington pulls up with someone in his face from outside of the free throw line and then Sobey misses 2 free throws. Ridiculous. Wish we wouldn't take so many stupid shots.

There's got to be a happy median between running the clock and taking a desperation shot at the end of the shot clock and taking a quick illadvised shot.
 
Pokes hanging tough down 4 with 2:44 left in regulation. Got to buckle down on defense and get some stops!
 
Damn this was a pretty good game, I said it before if we shoot good from 3 we can win but if we don't we can't. This game we should have won we had quite a few chances to pull this win off.
 
We lost because we make stupid decisions. Between all of the dumb shots tonight to that last play called to throw the ball all the way down court. What the hell was that? Did Shyatt call that or did Washington just do it? Dumb Dumb Dumb decisions.

Dammit. And another loss. We hit the 3, came alive down low, but still wasn't enough. If that moron in the studnt section hadn't thrown that stuff onto the court, we could have brought the game into OT at least, if not win it. Dumbass punk.

And that last play had to be quick. 7 seconds left, full court press, so lob down to Nance and have him get down to the hoop and tie it up. That was the idea, one of which I agree with.

Yes, it clearly worked really well. That guy in the stands was wide open.

Yeah, because basketball players always double for QBs.

Say we didn't do that. Instead, race down the court (with a full court press mind you, which has given us problems before), pass it a couple times (depends on how long it takes to get down there), and then jack up a last second (if that) shot to tie it up/win. What we tried at least gives the chance to open something up, while racing down the court and jacking up a highly contested shot would be reminiscent of the last few games where that was all we did, and failed at it horribly.

I like the adjustments that Coach Shy put in for this game...we will be fine come tourney time...

On a side note: Really happy with the bench play tonight. Especially Derek Cooke Jr!!

The problem with your argument is that under your "what if" scenario, Wyoming gets a shot off, which is one more shot than they got off with whatever that was they tried to run. On the other hand, maybe Washington was actually shooting it. It came about as close to going in as that last three-pointer he took.
 
It's too bad we can't combine our football and basketball teams. One can't score and the other can't defend. Combined, they would be unstoppable!
 
You guys are seriously never going to be happy, We sure as hell gave them one hell of a battle and yes had we shot a little better we quite possibly would have beat them. To be such an ass about the long pass seriously none of you that are crying about that are ever going to be happy.

Yes I'm frustrated we lost and I would love to have seen a win there but you guys are being way too critical of one friggin play.
