2 years is enough

The fact that we are having a difficult time coming up with names of JUCO's we've had over the years is telling. Stanton was good. Luke Anderson was decent. Troy Boyland was a sophmore transfer and is now the starting RG....but was sharing time with a true freshman. Justin Berger was a sophomore transfer and scored a TD against UNLV.

If we go the JC route, I'd much prefer a 3 years to a two year guy. Two year guys take one year to adapt and one year to maybe do something decent. Whereas, a freshman comes in and is a junior or sophomore by the time the JUCO guy has come an gone. Yes, JUCO's for the most part are band-aids, and usually not very good band-aids.

The best JUCO to ever play at Wyoming....Dabby Dawson, but he joined a loaded team.

I nominate Josh Walwark, QB of the 1996 team as a close second place. That team had some JuCo LBs as well.

Didn't a DC juco make the nfl? Kurt Tasafua?(sp). Korey Jones won a Grey cup this year and was a juco as well. Mazi Ogbonna was good. So were two offensive lineman ( one transferred last year one stayed). One area DC did good in was with Juco recruits( & qbs). I think Bohl can do win. It kills me the approach he took.
