No linemen, mainly skill players, including a fullback, undersized, but still.
There is one linemen: John Jackson, Jr. - 6-4 / 265 / DE / Tucson, AZ.
I would think that they have filled their allotment on offensive linemen and if John Jackson, Jr. commits that we will have our allotment filled on the defensive line as well.
To me what we need are DB's, and TE's and especially FB's, and I am guessing that he wants a RB in this class as well.
We don't have a commitment from a FB as yet, and I am expecting that Jack Flor is exectly the one that they want. I saw his tapes and the guy is an animal, he held his blocks longer than anyone I have seen in a long time even after he ran the guy into the ground, but he also has the speed to get yards carrying the ball.
We are thin in the defensive backfield and if we can get Crosby and a couple others then we can get some depth there. I am not sure of the number exactly but I would imagine that if we get a bunch of commitments out of this group that Coach Bohl and his staff will be very judicious with the last few scholarships as I don't think we have the ability to give out a total class of 25, but who knows what the attrition will be after spring ball.
Personally I like the RB's that we have in the program now, and if we don't sign one with this class it isn't a big problem in my opinion. I would imagine that the coaching staff is thinking that they are slight ahead of where they thought that they would be in commitments at this stage, just how things fell out. But I think that it shows that Coach Bohl's reputation will get people to take notice, and the opportunity this late in the recruiting season is great at Wyoming especially since most schools have already filled their recruiting classes except for a scholarship or two they are holding back and once kids get on campus, UW sells itself very well.
