I put together another blog! My rankings of the 10 best games (or most interesting to me) in the Mountain West this season. Thoughts? Comments?

There's ONLY one game I'm interested in this year......Hawai'i @ Wyoming. the renewal of the Paniolo Trophy series. Sadly nobody on either side fan wise has a clue as to where the traveling trophy that used to be presented to the winners from 1979 to 1997 is now!

Read somewhere that Wyoming won the trophy, decided it needed to be fixed/cleaned.....sent it somewhere on the island for that purpose and either forgot about it or never saw it again.

To be frank, Hawaii and Wyoming barely know each other anymore. Its clearly not a trophy game. I'd rather see Wyoming and Utah State start one than the Paniolo Trophy be revived.

I heard this very story on Sports Hawaii. Hell, wouldn't shock me if the UW managers who took the trophy to get it repaired forgot about it. But still....It's our trophy....and since we can't do JACK SHIT at trying to win a conference title might as well get that one back. :tickedoff:

Crap rock music now? Have you listened to anything since the 80s? Rock is not very popular with us "youngsters" you speak of...Anything and everything on the radio is crap pop and hip-hop. PS, I like rock music from "your day". So suck it.

Even when they went to the Sugar Bowl against Georgia, it's not like all of Wyoming fans were desperately cheering for them to lose and angered by the fact they were in the Sugar Bowl.
Teams like New Mexico and SDSU are bigger "rivals" than Hawaii.
When most Wyoming fans think of who our rivals are, we think CSU and BYU. Hawaii is not any where near the top of that list.

About the bold, try harder. :roll: Only reason we haven't played Hawaii in the last 15 years is due to politics and I do know that a former Hawaii AD and Wyoming AD had been trying to get a series going sometime during the 2000s so.....STUFF IT, bub!!!!

Beav, I agree that BYU and CSU are our main rivalries (Hawaii will not ever have the built in hate that those two have). I just see Hawaii as a more enjoyable rivalry than compared to our supposed rivalry with BYU lite. Plus we already have a pretty cool traveling trophy concept with the Hawaii series.
