Normally I would just give my thoughts on MWC Games but since listening to scoutingthewest podcast I'm learning more about the Pac 12 and there sure are some interesting games coming up this week for them. Some big playoff implication games this weekend as well so I'm really interested to see how rankings are with 1 loss teams.
Utah State (3-2, 1-2 away) @ 18 BYU (4-1, 2-1 home)
Not much can be said here, I think this was a serious shocker, Even before Hill went down USU was just all over BYU. Now Hill could have lead them back but once he was gone everything just went as far downhill as it could have gone. The way USU has been playing I thought they were going to get blown out so that was a good win for the MWC.
San Diego State (2-3, 1-1 MW) @ Fresno State (3-3, 2-0 MW)
Not shocked here, SDSU is mediocre with QB problems and Fresno while being no better has a little more experience on the field.
Tulsa (1-3, 0-1 away) @ Colorado State (3-1, 1-0 home)
Seems CSU should handle Tulsa, This might give us a little insight based on how FAU handled Tulsa we might be able to get an idea of what type of team CSU will be.
New Mexico (1-3, 1-0 away) @ UTSA (1-3, 0-1 home)
Dunno if this is even worth commenting on.
Navy (2-3, 2-0 away) @ Air Force (3-1, 2-0 home)
Air Force is looking good and they always show up for Military games.
Hawaii (1-3, 0-1 away) @ Rice (1-3, 0-1 home)
Hawaii should beat Rice but the long travel distance and time could bite them.
UNLV (1-4, 0-1 MW) @ San Jose State (1-3, 0-1 MW)
Pillow fight? I dunno
Boise State (3-2, 1-1 MW) @ Nevada (3-1, 1-0 MW)
This has a lot riding on it, If Nevada wins Boise is all but dead for a MWC Title this year.
6 Texas A&M (5-0, 2-0 SEC) @ 12 Mississippi St (4-0, 1-0 SEC)
I've had Mississippi penciled in as a win TAMU is solid but I'm not sold on them I think the SC game wasn't a fluke but they have shown extreme secondary weakness last two weeks.
3 Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) @ 11 Ole Miss (4-0, 1-0 SEC)
Ole Mill defense is extremely under rated just not sure they have the horses to run with Alabama but I'm pulling for them!
4 Oklahoma (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) @ 25 TCU (3-0, 0-0 Big 12)
What can I say I don't like the Sooner so I'm all in for TCU and they are quietly showing signs of a really strong team.
14 Stanford (3-1, 1-0 away) @ 9 Notre Dame (4-0, 2-0 home)
Stanford leads the nation in defense for a reason Notre Dame is going to have a true test today but I'm pulling for Stanford.
19 Nebraska (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten) @ 10 Michigan State (3-1, 0-0 Big Ten)
Pulling for MSU don't have anything against Nebraska but I really like watching MSU.
