Boise St +24.5 at #2 Oregon
Texas St +29.5 at #5 Texas
Washington St +23.5 at #17 Washington
(Utah St and San Diego St host FCS schools)

All the more reason for Wyoming to win The Border War and send the PAC whatever to 0-6 against FBS opponents in the first official week of the new conference's P5 (giggle, giggle) existence.

Oregon destroys the Donks 41-13
Texas gores Tejas State 45-0
Washington steals the Coogs apple 35-3

Pokes handle the lambs 24-10

I don’t think anyone knows how good the sheep will be. Didn’t they replace over 50% of their roster?

Brings up another question: why the hell would anyone want to wear that ugly jersey for a whole season?

Here’s why I agree with phxpoke:

Sawful has been awful. Kaden Anderson another win with over 200 yards passing and only TD’s. He was put in crap situations with the Sawful offense often.

I also agree the sheep might not be that good, but they don’t have Sawful which leaves me with the dread feeling.

But - I can be easily persuaded to have hope if the Pokes sheer the sheep.

I just feel awful putting any trust in Burman’s Sawful coaching choice…🤪

Anderson beat an FBS team on an FCS team. 16 of 24 passing, 2 TDs and no picks. 166.3 QB rating.
 
Washington State still has a game to play, but the PAC's week one was pretty bad.

Only wins were from CSU (thanks Sawvel) and SDSU against a FCS team. Fresno got shutout, and Utah State dropped one to an FCS team. Boise came out with a loss, but played well on the road against #2 Oregon. Not great overall. Looks like it's Boise State, then everyone else.

Idaho State looks more solid on both sides of the ball than Wyoming does. They controlled the game against USU. I bet they don’t have a big NIL budget or entered into a $7.5 million 5 year guaranteed contract with an unknown head coach. It just shows there are better options to recruit than a depth chart of “or” players that seemed confused at times and physically overwhelmed.

Our WR room is embarrassing this year.

There are probably several high school football teams in this country with better receivers than we have. Why this was not addressed in the portal, especially after Durr left, is beyond me.
 
We have a gym teacher as a head coach. It all starts there. And no accountability for the man who makes these hires and every excuse in the world.

He coached against a coach yesterday that has a 74-53 record as an FBS coach and almost a .500 record as an NFL coach.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. They did address it. They brought in a white guy from a DII school who barely played.
