I like the efficiency numbers presented here. Wyoming even increased their budget last year or they would have been #1. Just need to get recruits/transfers into Laramie and Wyoming stays a top-10 team.
I read this chart as "these are the schools we can poach from with only a modest increase in cost"That’s impressive. I don’t think those numbers include private NIL dollars because Iowa, Penn State and Oklahoma State spend a lot more than that if athlete payouts are considered.
I will ask MatSavant but those may include Rev Share numbers. That’s impressive. I don’t think those numbers include private NIL dollars because Iowa, Penn State and Oklahoma State spend a lot more than that if athlete payouts are considered.
I didn’t read it that way (unless you’re alluding to Wyoming being vulnerable to having its athletes poached). The only schools that I read that list indicating we can poach from purely from a financial standpoint are Air Force and Little Rock. I read the chart as Wyoming getting the best ‘bang for its buck’ compared to other teams.I read this chart as "these are the schools we can poach from with only a modest increase in cost"
Yes to the vulnerable part but basically anyone to the left and above you. If you're a program on the wrong side of the line, this chart lays out the schools who are filled with underpaid overperformersI didn’t read it that way (unless you’re alluding to Wyoming being vulnerable to having its athletes poached). It will be tough to keep the Novak’s of the world that we develop here absent a lot of outside money to help.
