Looks like they have started the move and July 1 will be a full subscription service. I am sure you will get a better deal if you subscribed annually but there will be a monthly option. I assume this will be in the $5/mo range.

It has not been officially released but I did see some reports that said $4.99/month and that an annual package would be slightly cheaper option

This looks like needless hardware that is simply running a pirated streaming app like Stremio with a live TV add on. You could do all of that for (close to) free on your own computer or smart TV.

Once you start streaming pirated material under copyright, it is illegal regardless of it is through hardware like this box or an app on your computer/TV. Of course, the chances of being prosecuted are pretty slim, but eventually they will choose to make an example out of somebody and you just have to hope that unlucky person isn't you. I do wonder if at some point ISP's might start denying service to users who are doing this.

some of the wyoming hoops can be dicey to watch on the box. or maybe i just preferred the free primary source feed on mw.com. football is good.

If on cbssn or fs1 it was good. On occasion I could find another feed. Using the MW app on the Roku was horrible. When only available through the MW I used the browser on the TV and it worked great.

$5 a month is reasonable. We were spoiled for many years by getting games for free. I’ll definitely subscribe if this pricing is correct.
