Logan Wilson benched

The Dallas D sucks but it's better than hanging around on the margins in Cincy. Plus, it's a somewhat closer flight to home. I think that LW still has some good football left to play. I would have liked to see him end up in Denver.
I hope he gets one more 2-4 year contract. He will be set for many generations

I was hoping the 49ers. They've had a lot of injuries but a good D culture. Saleh is a good D coach.

Dallas also traded for Jets DT Quinnen Williams. That should help
and the Bills lost another LB Sunday, and I don’t believe made any trades. Ugh……..it’s like they don’t want to win a Championship. Well, JA17 has that in common with his College and Pro programs…….

With free agency Wilson is likely looking at another deal. It will be interesting to see where he lands, for how long, and for how much.
I’d be surprised if he gets much in terms of guaranteed money or a long term deal. Likely an uphill battle to make a roster out of camp but he will absolutely be a guy that teams look to bring in later in the season when injuries pile up.

He has played longer than the average linebacker and has had a nice career whether or not he ever plays another down.

Waived by Dallas today, go to that Jacksonville D!!!
As a Jags fan, I would be so happy if we landed him. Pairing him up with Dewey again plus we're probably losing Lloyd. Bring Muma back to do special teams work and we can just become the Jacksonville Cowboys, and I'd be down for that

As much as I pull for Cowboy alumni to be successful in the NFL, LW is not a great sideline-to-sideline off ball linebacker. He might be able to sign with a team for depth at the position or an injury replacement.

But his linebacker cover skills are right at the top, at least they were. He was a good safety in high school. Remember him covering Cooper Kupp one on one in the Super Bowl, and defending him well. Refs through the flag because they didn't know how else he could keep up.

Yes. I agree that he could cover well. The past couple years he has lost a few steps.
