MWC lost a bowl option
It will be interesting to see how many bowls the pee12 and MWC end up aligned with.

I don't know why Kansas State refused a bowl , but Iowa State lost about 25 players to the transfer portal. Most of them followed their coach to Penn State.BTW - this is a good thing and a natural reaction to the market. Notre Dame, Iowa State, Kansas State and others turned down bowl invites this past year. The trend will grow. This resulted in several 5-7 schools playing in bowls. What is the point of watching 5-7 Rice Owls in a bowl?
Well, it hasn't been that for 3 years, so you're safeI wouldn't support Jimmy Kimmel anything Toilet Bowl
do athletes still go to classes? This will become a trend. I suspect eventually there won’t be many ‘bowls’ but rather a 24 team CFP and some sort of NIT bracket for teams left out.
Much more lucrative for media and local venues to showcase playoff matchups. Not great for the student athlete because it’s more time out of class during fall finals time (but pretty clear college football no longer has anything to do with education).
Still required to be enrolled per NCAA rules. Unless it's changed, they have to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Typically, they try to sign up for as many online classes as they can during the competition seasons (i.e. Fall for football).do athletes still go to classes?
