I actually agree with Burman's take on this. I also understand the barriers in the way of elevating an FCS team to FBS right now.I think Burman agrees with you..

Yet was reported in the major media markets of SD and Reno.Wyoming media, like most non-national media is pretty much non-existent.

Now was not the right time, but at some point, I do think Wyoming, Montana, Montana State, and South Dakota State all end up in the same conference. Is that because those other teams are "elevated" to whatever level UW is at or because UW was "demoted" down to their level? Only time will tell.
I think a lot of people would be surprised with how competitive these teams would immediately be in the MWC if given the chance.
I'm not defending Wyoming media...just pointing out that like most non-national media...it's completely hollowed out.Yet was reported in the major media markets of SD and Reno.
Honestly, we lose to South Dakota State, South Dakota, NDSU, Montana State and maybe Montana this year.I actually agree with Burman's take on this. I also understand the barriers in the way of elevating an FCS team to FBS right now.

We’ll see. I think we surprise this year. But if that’s true they’d be among the best in the non P 4Honestly, we lose to South Dakota State, South Dakota, NDSU, Montana State and maybe Montana this year.
I won’t support the Pokes if we drop down. Plain and simple
Say csu ever “moves up” and we don’t, I’m done. Most likely would be restructuring as a fallout from the power league split. Maybe they "move up-- whatever that will mean" to be in whatever forms below the power league. Maybe the the p4 teams that get left behind invite a few g6 teams and they form a level. Then the left behind g6 teams invite a few fcs teams to form a level. Who knows but I doubt it matters much beyond the power league.
