We are also talking about 18-24 year olds. How will a dad view sending his daughter to a University sponsored by Only Fans? It would definitely be publicized if Only Fans sponsored.

Regardless of your or my belief, how will it be viewed by potential high school families? I could certainty see it hurting enrollment more than helping. Again, that might just be a perception by potential students but if it leads to enrollment declines, was the juice worth the squeeze?

It would have to be carefully studied at the very least.

It will be a massive failure, if our AD cannot get (AT MINIMUM) $500k per year for each facility. And that is a low, laughable, and pathetic number. I think Uniwyo FCU paid that for the naming of the MPG years ago (500k per year for something like 5 years).

Seems like hyperbole and a parade of horribles of what could happen by allowing a company like OnlyFans to conduct business. No logical connection. I mean can you imagine all the awful things that can happen if we let our kids listen to rap music?

I've never read so many mindless posts. First, why is this even a subject? Only fans is not going to pay to put their name on a college football stadium - least of all ours. I've already posted that CSU gets more than 2 million a year for 15 years to call it Canvas Credit union stadium. The only corporation that would pay that is going to get direct benefit from it. That means managing the university accounts and issuing credit cards to the students. Or perhaps an airline that might get student athlete travel as well as packages for away games.
Finally, it would be a black eye to the university to name the stadium after anything controversial. And yes, McPeachy, 500k a year would be grounds for firing. But frankly, the fact that it hasn't been done already is gross negligence. We are the only stadium in the mountain west (except Falcon stadium) that isn't named after a corporate entity.

The whole point is that no one in their right mind would let Only Fans name a stadium so Wyoming would theoretically get way above market value. It's outside the box thinking and something everyone on this site complains the state and admin lack. OF is synonymous with Only Fans. Perhaps O-F stadium would be a compromise but it would be a short term deal for the publicity of accepting the deal and OF would get the publicity of someone actually agreeing to the naming deal. The company is worth $8B. I think we're getting to the point where Wyoming might need to go all-in on something like this. I'd prefer to win 10-12 games and elevate our standing that way but beggars can't be choosers. Is it my first choice? No. But not considering everything is a mistake. More than half the guys at the stadium probably ogle OF girls promoting themselves on Instagram anyway so we can probably dispense with the virtuous nature of football fans.
