Utah State is 132 out of 133 in both scoring and total defense in FBS (only Kent State is worse). I believe this is our second and last win of the season. Don’t be deceived with the false hope if the ‘offense’ looks better against them. This is a really bad team we are playing.

But - screw those guys. I hope Utah State joins big brother byu and loses every game from here until eternity.
 
I agree that this game is the best chance at another W.

If the offense can score more than 1 time in their first 15 possessions there is a chance.

USU is capable of putting up some points so this might need to be a game where Wyoming has to score more points than they have in any other game this season as in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

I would take Wyoming straight up on a bet but won’t be surprised if they have a close but no cigar disappointing loss either.

To reference statistics USU is 13th nationally in total offense whereas Wyoming is 110th nationally in total defense.
 
Utah State is a traitorous band of miscreants that deserve a beatdown in the worst way possible. They lie. They cheat. They steal. It wouldn't surprise me if they found out that the Gaggie alumni are responsible for the theft from our locker room in San Joser State. They are not to be trusted and make Benedict Arnold look like an amateur when it comes to backstabbing and double-dealing. I hope we beat them mercilessly. We probably won't, but it's what the shameless schmucks from Logan deserve.
 
I'm a bit skeptical that we can score against a bad defense. If we've proven nothing else this year, we are capable of going 3 and out against anyone. There's a part of me that wants the stands completely empty to give a big FU to Tom Burman. He wouldn't get the message anyway. The AA was mostly empty for the Heath Schroyer era and it took him 4 years to get the message. Listening to Sawvel tells me he is an absolute idiot who could destroy any team. But I still hope we win. But we won't.
 
If this game was in Logan, I'd pick USU to win. Since it's in Laramie I'll take Wyoming by 7. If the Cowboys players and coaches put up another effort like they did against Idaho they can easily lose this game.

According to Sawvel, it really just boils down to how many "asses" the Utah State defense has. If you see some "asses" wearing Utah State uniforms in the pregame warm-up, you will know we are in trouble.

I definitely won't be wasting my time watching this game but will check the score after it's over. Expecting another loss.

We are favored by 2 currently. So Vegas believes we are more likely to win. Having watched Utah State twice this year on TV, they are a bad team and equally disorganized as us. But they have a semi-excuse - - firing their coach for cause (contacting alleged sexual assault victims) right before the season.

I agree, Right now a win, any win would be great but I am not hopeful. Going the NM next weekend and starting to regret buying the airplane tickets already

I hear that. We planned on going (love Albuquerque - mostly because of the food), but so happy we didn't book it all at this point.

Indeed. Last week proves with 5 turnovers our offense sux. Best hope is defensive points. Offense sure can’t score.

Our offense is probably the #1 defense in the nation. There is no scoring when they are on the field. Just saying.
