Wyoming @ SMU

This is like a conference road game. We have the gameplan for this. If we keep it close we have a chance of winning in the end.

Wyoming isn't flat at all lol. SMU is just a good team. Here is the problem with the first half... 2-10 from the 3 point line. Shooting too mamy 3's. Need to use more pick and rolls to the basket and more penetration with Adams and Hankerson.

Defensively i would go back to the zone. But one thing I am noticing is SMU isn't that great in the half court offense if you get back and make them have to work for a shot they aren't that great other than Nic Moore. I would Just cover up Moore and then force everyone else to take jumpers in the half court which I think a zone would do. They struggled with that zone. Think Shyatt might go back to that.
 
Shoot 37%, 2-11 from 3, Nance with only 2 points and 2 boards, on the road, and we're only down 2?

Agree! I honestly think Shyatt should go to maybe a box and 1 and zone everyone but NIc Moore and throw Josh on him defensively. They scored most of their points in transition or getting the ball up the court and scoring quickly or having Moore get a pic and pop.
 
This is why the first road game is so sketchy.

Our players are struggling to get into sync. They are not in the Dome of Doom. They are not where they practice, play, and hangout everyday.

We look sloppy on offense, but I think SMU is doing a good job on defense, but we are definitely missing some shots we shouldn't be,

I have no idea what the 3 or 4 throw aways are about.

But down 2, on the road at halftime, and Larry hasn't even done anything yet... This is where we want to be.

Good call. I didn't understand why Riley was on him for a lot of the first half, he had trouble getting through those screens
 
SMU's only offensive presence is Nic Moore. Not sure why they weren't playing Adams on him unless it was because they wanted Josh for offense but doesn't really make sense. Moore is a player though. He can shoot the ball like crazy. He went off their last game against Monmouth also.
