Your thoughts on Craig Bohl's Monday November 9 Presser

I think he knows the talent and experience is not there...yet. Contrary to what people think these kids have not given up. Not at all. Bohl knows it will get better and he's doing his best to finish the year out well. For some reason Bohl instills confidence in me.

Must be the 1-9 record and the fact every time this team takes the field it loses by an average of 15.2 points.

Must be. That and he's bald and wise.
Lander, you need to learn not to feed the trolls. This guy is nothing but a troll.

My thoughts....you could play the same presser every week. No need to record a new one. Defense is lousy. We can't move the ball. Too many penalties. Too many turnovers. I won't name individual players. We need to fix some things in practice this week. We got beat by a good football team.

Same old tired story, just a different week. I believe this is called a recurring theme. Just hit replay each Monday and it will tell you what is going on with this program. Bohl's done this so much he has the speech memorized. He looks like a politician regurgitating the same old bull shit.

Not going to watch it. Lost all enthusiasm for cowboy football the rest of the year. I don't care what he has to say. It sounds the same every week. I still show up and watch every game but I'm not going to listen to pressers and coaches shows. I find myself deleteing the Craig Bohl show off my DVR every week without watching. Whats the point in reliving these games. It was hard enough to get through the first time. I'm not done with the football program and think Bohl can turn it around but have no investment in this year anymore.

There, I fixed it for you Jimmy.

I watched the Inside Wyoming Football show for the first time and it was hilarious! If you knew nothing about the program, the way Dave Walsh talks you'd think Wyoming is in line for one of the four football playoff slots. It literally had me laughing out loud.

Dave has actually toned it down a bit from the first few episodes.

The level of enthusiasm was beyond your typical homer spin on a bad season. It was downright bizarre to watch. After feeling a bit disturbed at first, I too find a lot of humor in that show now. My Friday night routine consists of opening a beer, pulling up the Inside Wyoming Football show, and having a good laugh at unintentional comedy for 20 minutes.

I am a faithful Inside Wyoming Football watcher...and I have mentioned Dave's awkward enthusiasm on other threads multiple times. You'll also notice that Bohl answers every question with the word "certainly" in it.

Dave: 'I am seeing Wingard fly to the ball and improve."
CB: "yeah, he certainly does..."

Etc etc.

You will notice it.

The format is rather bizarre. "Highlights" play why Bohl awkwardly provides dry commentary, and Walsh heaps effusive praise on a team that lost by 30. But like I said, it makes me chuckle.

I agree that the format is horrible and its compounded by loss after loss, with Bohl shifting uncomfortably having to watch his team get beat on tape as everyone watches with him.

I hate to admit this, but the CSU show with Mike Bobo has much better flow and it's not so damn regimented with the same exact formula each week from what I've seen.

When you are this bad in a horrible conference there simply isn't much to say. I guess he could throw in something about birthdays and eating an elephant.

The season is what it is...12 scrimmages. We'll see if it works.

Well it's official.... the fanbase has found just about everything possible to complain about it. Seriously Inside Wyoming football? Who cares. We have bigger issues to worry about.
