Wake, Loyola, and Missouri are all missing several things Wyoming has: a recognized national championship trophy, a Helm's Foundation National Championship(before anyone official started keeping track) and a post-season tournament MVP.

Yeah except all of that happened before AND during World War II!!!!! Not really relevant nowadays.

It's like saying Minnesota is a major power in football now even though they won a few national championships in the 1930s. :roll:

Only way Wyoming becauses relevant again on the national stage basketball-wise is if the basketball team has a deep run in the NCAA Tournament soon. A one-&-done aint going to cut it!!!!!

And don't even get me started on the football program! I have serious doubts about CDC and his staff. Still think we'll going end up 3-9 (4-8 at best).

Care to make a wager? I'm a believer and would be willing to bet that the Pokes finish much better than your prediction. And a National Championship banner is a good tool to use, regardless of when it was won.
