BYU fans are once again playing the victim card on the MWC board, trying to claim how they were a victim in the Mtn. TV contract by either claiming they were shafted because CT acted without the President's approval (the guy probably can't even take a piss without asking) or that BYU willingly gave up their better coverage for the sake of the conference, which really contradicts everything that went down last fall and what BYU insiders (like Bayou Coug or whatever his screen name is, said that BYU was looking at Indy at about the sametime).

Some of those fans are involved in ridiculous revisions of what went down. It's almost like someone has distributed talking points.

1. BYU did not choose independence because Utah left.

2. BYU had no hand in trying to diminish the MWC with the WAC shenanigans.

3. BYU had a strategic plan to leave the conference way before anyone else (see no. 1).


Pretty disingenuous. Your school's administration did these things, the rest of us saw your school do these things, why not own it? I don't care so much that BYU was looking out for itself. However, this spin crap by the school and many of their fans is pathetic.
