Yay! More problems with the MWC board.

it wasnt vb it was phpBB like this one. It was angryoffroad.com but it went belly up when the owner had to do his tour for the army and didnt bother to keep it

With what is going on in the MWC such as the teams leaving and new teams joining and with fans of the teams who are leaving trolling the MWC board and teams that remain, I think the timing is right.

I've been an admin and run a number of game related forums and I would say the biggest thing VB has over everything else is the community behind it and the customization options.

CP is hands down better, the ACP is really close with the new phpbb but it's still nothing compared to VB. I think VB overall is just a stronger forum for a community site.

The new site going to be Forum based or Portal based?

Could I get some translations for VB, CP, and ACP please?
 
It'll look a lot like this one. We run phpBB on all of our sites. You can do quite a bit of customizing w/ phpBB.. www.egriz.com is a good example of a heavily customized board. The anygivensaturday.com site is vBulletin based. Different strokes for different folks.. I just want a strong board for the users that are pissed off with MWCboard. :)

Oh, I was quite familiar with phpBB boards, been on this one; http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/index.php since 2007. They've done quite a few modifications on it since then, so I know that it is extremely customizeable. Joined it because at the time, I was really into RISK, found the site, found you can play 4 games for free on numerous maps, been there ever since (now more for the forum community then the game itself).
