Holy shit! The 2026 season is only a few days from kickoff and I'm late to post the prediction pool.

I'll get the full "official" introduction post up soon, but in order to not delay picks any further, let's get Week 1 started!

Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, Children of all ages...back by popular demand, it's the WyoNation spread prediction pool!!!

While the last couple of years have not been kind to us Poke fans, it's a new year and a whole new Mountain West Conference. While preseason expectations are not high, it's time to bring all Poke fans back together for some good-hearted fun as we begin the best time of the year...College Football!!

The rules are simple, every week I will post the match-ups for every Mountain West Conference school as well as a few other noteworthy games from around the country. Your job is to reply with your guesses for which team will win that week's contests and by how many points. You then accrue points based on how far off the actual spread your prediction was.

Example: In week 1, you might pick Wyoming to beat Colorado State by 10. If Wyoming wins by 7, you are given only 3 points. However, if CSU were to win by 7, you would get 17 points tacked on to your score. At the end of the week, I'll add up all the points, and the poster with the lowest score is that week's winner!

This year with 10 MWC teams, we'll post 10 games each week.

I'll also keep a running tally over the season and we'll see who will earn the right to join our previous esteemed winners:
