Stewart is a play maker on the field and when we find ways for him to gett he ball it ends with good things my vote is for him

... That kid is the whole reason we are 4-2.

I have to disagree.... Although ACS is an integral part of 4-2, there is a whole cowboy team that is busting their butts every day to contribute to that record. There is a coaching staff that has instilled a new brand of work ethic into our team. Yes, ACS has contributed greatly, and I am glad to have him at the helm, but he is still only one guy on a COWBOY FOOTBALL TEAM that is 4-2.

And I do believe he would say the same.

Agreed, but that same COWBOY FOOTBALL TEAM was busting their butts prior to ACS getting the starting nod. Before ACS was named starter this team looked streaky and confused, but since he took the reigns the team has come together and showed that they can play consistently.

ACS just another 280 yds of offense and 3 TDs, no turnovers...that is getting pretty common for him, that's great, but he made some awesome throws, and misses some throws, this week my vote goes to....

Weston Johnson. The defense held its first opponent to less than 22 pts. (i'm throwing out the fumbled fake punt-the snap was hard to handle). I think the defense needs some props...and he had a beast of a game. He almost had a 2 INTs.

I cast mine for Brandon Stewart. 120+ total yards, a pair of TDs.. not a bad day. Weston was my 2nd choice.

I agree ACS played a greatgame but stewart made plays and had a break out game in a way we know what ACS is capable of but let someone else get some love

While I believe ACS played another outstanding game my vote went to Stewart. He was a spark plug and is really growing into his role.

I didn't want to pick ACS again, but just taking a step back and looking at the facts...he is still a true freshman (with all of 3 starts) and plays another very good game.

Honorable Mention: I agree with others that Brandon Stewart deserves recognition here too. I was at first skeptical about moving a WR ahead on the depth chart of a player and team captain with a lot more experience at RB (terry). That is why I am not a coach. DC really shows that he will do anything to ensure the ball gets in the hand of his playmakers. Even if that means moving a team captain down on the depth chart. Just like Sween, it seems that Terry has handled this demotion very well (from his comments to the paper.

Weston had my vote as well...but thinking about the win, ACS was very, very critical. Weston had a game though...great to see, and surely more to come.
