If Brett Smith is in these last 4 losses, we are 5-1.
Against Toledo, he drives us down to score when Colby couldnt
Against Cal Poly, we do not even come close to losing to them with smith
If Smith is in the game against nevada in the end of the game, we score at the end of 4th to win.
If Smith plays against AFA we win, no doubt. If Thompson got us with in 1 point, me thinks its a no brainer that we win

but he wasn't in the end of the final 4 losses (2 games he didn't even play one snap!!)
we get killed against FRESNO w/out smith
we have a QB shoot out with smith
we get stomped by boise w/out smith

So yes if we have brett smith, we can win any of our remaining games. Even a shitty NM/vegas/sherverport bowl over some bad pac12 team like washington state or cal.

Bottom line is, we have got to win one of the Fresno or Boise games, then Beat the Sheep, and win the final 3 games to go 6-6
But if we can grab fresno and boise, I expect us to go 7-5.
Then we win a bowl game and are 8-5, finishing 3rd in the conference (probably)
then what do the DC haters say about him?

Every team in the damn country could say oh if we hadn't of fumbled the ball or if we blocked harder we could've won that game. To say what you are saying is nonsense. Having Brett in during those games wouldn't have necessarily guaranteed a win. There are a lot of other factors that play into a win. You are not only delusional to think that we are close to top 25 but you are also delusional to think that with just Brett we win everything. I am tired of people on here praising Brett for not doing much this season. Oh by the way if I would've invested all my savings in apple stock a few years ago I would be a millionaire so I guess I'm almost a millionaire.

How can a poke fan not admire this team's Rocky Balboa-esque ability to pick themselves up after continuous devastating losses and come out swinging as an improved, gung ho team each week?
