Buchanan is ranked #2 in the country. Pokes seem to be wrestling better towards the end. Hopefully they can finish top 20 at nationals. I would consider that a success.

Buchanan has a real shot to win the whole thing with Ferrari out. Will be exciting to watch.

I take it Andrews is out for the year? Haven't heard much

Weird/kind of disappointing year so far. Hopefully they turn it on in the postseason

I was wondering about Andrews. He's still ranked in the polls, so I guess he's coming back? Guess we'll see at the conference championships this weekend.

And yeah, Buchanan's got as good a shot as anyone. Ferrari got in a vehicle wreck and fucked himself up
 
Disappointing year and disappointing Big 12s to say the least as a team overall. Buchanan in today’s Big 12 finals. Buchanan has the talent to win a national championship, so let’s go!

NCAA Qualifiers: Buchanan, Hastings and Wright

Work to do: Samuelson (must win 7th place match today and get an at large)

Out: everyone else barring a surprising at large
 
Wright finished 3rd. Hastings finished 5th. Samuelson finished 7th.

Buchanan wrestles tonight on ESPN2 against Tanner Sloan of South Dakota State. Buchanan did not wrestle Sloan in the dual earlier due to Covid on both teams. If Buchanan wins, he will probably be the #2 seed at the NCAAs behind Max Dean and could be the # 1 seed if Dean loses to Schultz of Nebraska today (given Buchanan’s earlier win over Schultz).
 
Congrats to Buchanan for winning the Big 12 title! He should be seeded #2 for the NCAA tournament. He has the talent to win it!!
