Not really Wicks fault today. He was getting pounded by guys in the backfield as soon as he took the handoff.

I hope there is some sort of ability to appeal. I was blown away that it wasn't overturned by a review. Is clearly hitting someone with shoulder pads now targeting?

I didn't get to see the play, so I can't comment on it specifically. But as for hitting with shoulder pads, yes, that can still be considered targeting. It depends where he hit the other player (I.E. head/neck) and if the player was defenseless or not. Basically, it doesn't have to be helmet-to-helmet to still be considered targeting.

while listening to the game and now seeing the highlights, we played well. We lost this game after hill took us to the 15 yd line in the 3rd qtr and then we went backwards. That and not having a kicking game. Should have put up another 6 or so points if we had a kicker
