wyoming vs unlv

I just got my csewe ticket on their website. There are a fair number of tickets left. It would be nice to have a big Wyo. crowd at their place.

Tonight was very encouraging. Adams came through at the end and Cooke and Nance patrolled the paint pretty well. Unlv is talented. It was a very good win. If there's a downside, our bench is nearly non existent. Herndon did a few good things but that was it.

Some missed wide open 3s did us no good either.

Herndon gets pushed around like a nerdy kid on the playground. He's got to get tougher on rebounds

Needs to bulk up too.

He's so thin. I doubt he weighs 200 lbs. However, he moves well and seems to have some skills. I'd much rather Herndon play than Sellers. I doubt we see Lieberman or Bentz play any meaningful minutes. That sure puts it all on Grabau, Hankerson, and Adams.

Its pretty simple, Herndon is part of our future and Sellers is not.

I wanted to be there so bad... What was the attendance? It didn't seem too bad on TV. Sounded pretty loud, too.

I think they said ~6000 on espn3.

They announced over 6,000. The atmosphere was about the same as the CU game, except for the student section. The lower bowl was pretty full actually for a change, but the upper bowl was far more empty than the CU game.

And nearly all the courtside seats had butts in them. Not sure if these were all the actual seat owners and donors or the athletics department simply went around and chose fans to fill them, but it was nice to see those seats actually being used

I was at both the CU game and last night. I was shocked when they announced 6011. Last night was so much louder and raucous than any game this year. It was a fantastic environment

Herndon came through huge last night. Very pleased with his minutes. He will get them in close games because Cooke is a liability late in the game. Last night might have been first time I've seen him hit back to back free throws

Back in WYO for the new year with my family and what an awesome game to watch with my dad in the Cowboy state! HUGE WIN for the Pokes    Loved how we played and looked polished down the stretch gutting this win out. UNLV looked really good too and surprised me at how well they played. Beating them after they shoot and play like that just feels awesome. Nance is back!!! Hope Adams steps up a little more, he doesn't need to give us that much more just another 2 to 4 points in games like that. Nice to see Herndon step it up. Looks like we're 7 deep when in matters and that's pretty much spot on for most college bball programs.

Can't state how HUGE it is to win at home against every MW team, but especially the top 4 teams. If we can somehow sneak out 2 wins on the road against the top 4 and hold down the DOME OF DOOM we are gonna be GOLDEN :king:

Can't be that hard on Cooke he has been much better at the line this year. When he came to UW he shot 33% from the stripe, last year he was up to 43% and this year he is sitting at 55%. Sure it's not 90% but he isn't the liability he was.

Not 60%, but he is above 50%. He's done well.

I love how Cooke's been playing this year. He's rebounding very well and hustling his butt off.
