Good teams can have bad games as was the case for the pokes. I was woefully wrong in my assessment that the cowboys would win this one handily.

When we play good we are really good and it's hard to beat us. When we play bad just about anyone can beat us.

It was unbelievable how many facets of our team was off. We are usually careful with the ball and win the turnover battle. We usually give Allen good protection. We usually are good against the run. This week all these areas were missing and we looked like a 2-10 team from last year instead of a 7 win team this year.

The positives from this game were very good as well though. We never quit. We scored on special teams and with the exception of mays fumble special teams were pretty good tonite, and Brian hill ran for over 100, and tanner gentry was the man! Josh Allen looked great at times and woeful other times.

Just goes to show how small the margin for error is in college football and how close a good team is to looking like a poor team if they do t play well.

While I agree we were off in a number of areas, last year's team would not have rallied. How many points did we give them off turnovers? A year ago we wouldn't have come out of the locker for the 2d half.

BTW, up here in the land of Microsoft and I couldn't even find live audio. All I had for live coverage was this thread. So, I watchedtape delay, mostly to see Conway and May's returns. Imagine my surprise with not one, not two but 3 o.t.'s!fun game, despite the loss.

Dude...Boyd broke his arm in the game.

Totally know when it happened too. They spent a lot of time looking at it on the sideline.
Yeah, and he went back in! Arm looked a little "dead" and hung there, but was still out playing.

Boyd: Coach, you sure it's okay for me to go back out there?
Coach: Of course! You wanna win, right?
Boyd: Well, yeah, but I don't think my arm is supposed to bend that way.
*Boyd's arm bends up from the side*
*Coach's attention back on field*
Coach: Nonsense! Put a bandaid on and go back out there!
Boyd: If you say so coach.
