This.

Wyosteelerfan, we should try to get one of our local dives to host a WYO appreciation night. Thinking an away game w/drink specials, debauchery, etc. Know anyone in the local booze biz? I have a few contacts I'll talk to.

Was a great win we held them 20+ points below their PPG I think that shows the defense has fallen off as much as we thought but the real test is Saturday hope the AA is on fire.

I honestly think are defense is fine. I think the first few games Wyoming was playing down to their competition and taking a few minutes off here an there because they knew they could turn it up the last 8 minutes of the game and take over and tonight they finally decided to play defense the whole 40 minutes.

Great game to start it with leading into Saturdays game.

Let's pack the AA on Saturday and blow the Buffs out of the gym!

I actually like their gym, for what it is worth... been to camps there it's bigger than it looked on the stream... As for the game we dominated and actually didn't play our best, way too many turnovers. I am jacked for Saturday

Agreed. We forced alot of turnovers, but we frequently gave the ball right back.

Still, defensively, that is the best we have played all year. In the first 13 minutes of the second half, they only scored 10 points and 6 of those points came on 2nd chance opportunities. 1 point came on a 1/2 trip to the FT line and there was a 3-point play by their big early one. So in 13 minutes we allowed them to make exactly one FG out of their primary halfcourt offense. That is domination. Need to clean up the defensive glass a little bit, but they missed a lot of shots, which creates a lot of offensive rebounding opportunities and Williams is a load to deal with down low for us (9 boards in 20 minutes, 4 of them offensive).

CU poses some challenges in the frontcourt as well, albeit of a different type. Roberson is as good of a rebounder as we will face this year and their freshman big, Scott, is going to be a great player. We won't face too many big men with his interior offensive skill set. Nance, Cooke, and Washington will have their work cut out for them. Last year Leonard and Adam owned the paint in Boulder. It won't be that easy this time.
