Disclaimer: I had to manually enter this data. I haven't gone through and double checked it. I'm just killing some time on my back porch enjoying the last few days of fall and crunching on a spreadsheet.

I've went back and looked at the win/loss data since 1950. Enjoy!

Looking closer at that last graph, it looks like DC was on his way to meeting up with Paul Roach on PF. It really is too bad he couldn't find some defensive guys and keep calm on the field. He was on his way to setting some school records.

There was also his inability to make in-game adjustments....
 
Hah! I wish I could figure out a way to graph that - in game adjustments vs out of game adjustments. I don't think its measureable. I think DC was trying to brute force it. He could find a good qb or two, some receivers, a running back or two, and forget about the rest.

I'm guessing if he was here today, we would be bitching about losing 91-77 in games.
