Wyoming schedule set through 2019

Nothing jaw dropping added to schedule. Texas State and Tulsa are ok but our FCS opponents Gardner-Webb (2017) and Wofford (2018)..... why even bother. May as well choose regional teams that might put a few seats in the stands for the games .

The Fluffs haven't been to Laramie since 1949, and have given no sign they want to ever come here. They only even play the sheep because of state legislature.

BYU? Fuck them.
 
Wofford could be fun......they've got one of the cooler live mascots in college sports

I don't see BYU doing a home and home with Laramie which is what we would demand in order to play them. Wyoming just does nothing for their recruiting, strength of schedule or bottom line. However if Wyoming puts together a consistent winner I could see BYU wanting a regular series similar to Boise and Utah State.

I don't see WYO entertaining those (insert worst word you can imagine). It isn't like WYO has a request out just waiting for byu to say yes. Hell, byu doesn't do a damn thing for our recruiting, bottom line, and is only a marginal upgrade over other middle of the pack G5 members. By the time the game could occur, they might be a worse game than other G5. Give me a N. Illinois or something that helps our recruiting over byu any day of the week.

There is no need, reason, or desire to schedule them.

I agree. There's actually quite a bit to look forward to. This year sucks so so bad as far as OOC schedule goes.

Definitely. I'm hard on Burman, but I do give him credit on scheduling. All things considered, I think he has done a really nice job in regards to football scheduling.
 
Interesting.

Look like I'll be in Tulsa on September 21, 2019 to watch Wyoming beat Tulsa. It's only about 75-90 minute drive from OKC.

The last time I went was in 1992 (UW lost 49-32) and the drive was as boring as going from Casper to Shoshoni.
