Wyoming @ San Diego State - Game Thread

The 2nd half issue will not be corrected until next year, We seriously need more size on the D line so they are worn out by the 4th quarter. However if we can put up 30-40 in the first half of any game we can be competitive but you are going to see Wyo stumble in the 3rd and 4th as the line gets winded.

I think our size is solid now after the post Utah State adjustments. Besides the one run, we held them to one TD in the 2nd half. I also thought we put decent pressure on Lindley late to cause him to throw a few passes sooner than he wanted. And those tips by Biezuns were nice too.

Field position was an issue for us most of the 4th quarter and we held them scoreless...with a couple assists from their kicker.

I think our size is just a little small sitll, They held strong I agree but you could tell that O line from SDSU really had them winded. I just think we could use a little more size to really hold on to those leads and not give them up.

I think there was some guys who predicted this exact kind of game. SDSU would get their rushing yards, but said B. Smith and Wyo would be able to pass albeit it was only in the first half. Someone also said that Lindley couldn't beat us through the air because he lost his two studs. He really misses those guys as he had a few dropped passes at key times. Gipson's INT was huge.
