Wyoming Roster Rumors

The rumors are flying that Linskins and Diakite are both leaving the program and transferring. I believe we had 6 recruits with 4 schollys and now we have 6 scollys to give our new recruits. I wish Linskins and Diakite the best in their future.

We are losing Linskens...dang, now we got noone to shoot the three for us next year! :D

Oh and it looks like we are taking 2 kids from Ohio, including a 4.0 student from Akron (same high school as Lebron). I am actually surprised he won't be playing for the zips. He wants to go into engineering...and having attended Akron for a year, they have a pretty good engineering program. I like us getting players we dont have to worry about in the classroom!

They are not transferring, they are both heading overseas to play "pro". Opens up some opportunities for dang sure.

The best thing is that both are leaving in good academic standing meaning their departures aren't hurting the APR.

What type of professional opportunities are there for players that couldn't get 5 minutes per game in college ?

Just wondering....

Actually a lot because they are foreign. Most foreign leagues have rules on the amount of American players, therefore foreign players don't have to be that good (by our standards) to play pro.
