The coaching staff really should keep the press away from Brett and Co after a few bad losses. The jabs and pokes are tough on a young player.

Ridiculous -- and I'm sure Brett would think the same as well.

So lets only wheel players out to speak to the press when all the roses and red and all the lights on the way to town are green.

Yes, this will develop their maturation process for sure.

This isn't the NFL. Treat the kid with respect.

Not an encouraging article. Next two games could be important for lots of individuals. As crappy as things have been, the team has to keep focus. Back-to-back trophy games are ahead, both giving a chance to be bowl eligible. Hawaii is 0-lots of losses. Utah State will be very tough, but if its any consolation they got their asses handed to them by a Boise team littered with injuries in Logan! They are good, but unbeatable? Hardly. A win against Hawaii can be a springboard to next weeks game in Logan. I know it sounds unlikely, and it is....but Brett and co. need to keep their heads up. The season is not over and there is lots to play for.

You're imagining that 'the kid' isn't being treated with respect.

He was asked a few questions.

All of them respectfully.

Please stop it with your nonsensical fascinations.

No doubt.

Definitely found it.

Is it enough to boost them through USU?
I don't have a whole lot of confidence in that. Hawaii isn't anything like USU at the LOS. USU is playing good, old-fashioned, smash-mouth, trench warfare defense. They are possibly the best and definitely most physical defense in the MWC. Smith's really going to feel pressure next week.

Yep, I agree, but we have seen Smith take the team to wins before. We just need the entire offense to come out fired up. Trick play galore, slow down the play clock, whatever, just do what it takes.
