Wyoming opens as a 1.5-point favorite vs. CSU

Seems about right to me. I wouldn't bet it one way or the other. I wouldn't be shocked to see a Pokes rout. I wouldn't be shocked to see a Colorado State shutout.
 
What is our record w/out JA? I believe it's 8-27. Of course you take csewe. It kills me to say it. I don't believe this coaching staff (other than d coord) knows what the hell it's doing. Bohl looks absolutely clueless on the sideline. Csewe offense is decent. We still have not scored 20 points since week one so this is an easy call.
 
By the numbers, Utah St offense was far better than decent and wyo defense almost made that game winnable. I don't think CSU has that great of an offense. As observed above...I would not bet this game...I really have no idea.
 
Will be interesting to see who Bobo starts at QB. Hill looked much more effective than KJCS vs. Boise.
 
every offshore book I've seen has csewe at -2.5 or -3. In answer to J-rod, I think Hill starts. He is finally healthy and Bobo has been looking for excuses to play him.
 
!.5 ? I'm guessing the oddsmakers are thinking Chambers will be in for 15 minutes or so. Otherwise forget it.

By the numbers, you're correct. I'm just not impressed with USU or Fresno st. or any of the teams in the MWC except Boise St. and SDS. We've scored 1 offensive td in the month of October. I can see not betting. But I can't see betting on us. I'm wondering if our defense has another heroic effort in them. This game has a an intriguing matchup - our horrible offense vs their horrible defense. Their run defense is particulary bad - all the more reason to start Chambers.
 
There's no reason to not start Chambers. For this game anyway. If we win SJSU would be your best bet to save a red shirt and be good enough to win. Heck if we win vs CSU....start Nick Smith vs SJSU.....he will have the incentive to avenge the loss of last year......nothing to lose......
 
Seriously, fuck the redshirt if the kid can help WYO win out the next 4 (and accomplish that). Shame is that the inept coaching staff didn't play him (Chambers) earlier. Like in Hawaii for example. Ridiculous.

Since no starter has been named for Friday, I'm going to guess TVW will get the start. This is not a coaching staff that makes changes quickly. It took nearly 8 games and no qb production to get Chambers into the game in the first place.
