Wyoming opens +7 vs. Nevada

HEEEY! Finally not an overwhelming underdog. Pokes owe these guys for that shit game in Reno a few years back where Brett got tossed.
 
Not to toot my own horn, but I'm 4 for 4 getting us right vs the spread (I didn't bet the first 2 games). I think this line is too low. In 5 of our 6 games, we've had a deficit of 21 pts or more at some point in the game. Nevada has lost to Texas A & M, Arizona, and UNLV. They beat NM by 18 last week. Revenge is not a factor, imo.

It will take some late scores to get a backdoor cover. I don't think it happens this week. Lay the 7.
 
Wyoming has yet to lose by less than double digits, and that includes to a middle of the pack FCS school and woeful Eastern Michigan (seriously, how the hell did we lose those games?!?). I would take this action alllllll day long.
 
I put money on Nevada. This is a weird line, IMO. Nevada crushed UNM who crushed us.

Vegas seeing progress in the POKES? I would think betting would be good even with UW at +10 or +12.

The don't care about progress in the Pokes. They think bettors will be swayed by perceived progress in the Pokes.
 
The fact this line is only 7 and has dropped to 6.5 with over 90% of people already wagering on Nevada tells me Wyoming will most likely cover this game.

I haven't seen the line move on any of the off shore books. I would admit this looks like a trap game because the line makes no sense. In our last 2 games, we've had to score a td in the 4th qtr to cover 24 point lines.

What do you think of the csewe - air force game? The game started as pickem and now Air Force is -3.5. This game is homecoming for csewe and is sold out. Even with the qb problems, I would make a case for csewe and the points.
 
I get the the thought process if why this might be a bad bet, but I just don't see how we come within a td of anyone.

The line moved for a few hours at one book I saw to 6.5 but it is back up to 7. I personally won't play Wyoming but it won't surprise me if they cover. That line is begging for Nevada money in my opinion.

As far as the CSU/AFA game I will be watching that line on Saturday morning. Right now it is setting up for a nice play on CSU if things stay as they are. Just have to see what the line does and what the public does. I don't think AFA is that great this year and CSU should be able to move the ball on them.
 
I'm baffled by the line for UW vs UNR. I don't see why we are getting this much respect. Especially with the health of three key defensive players in the air... Sheesh. Maybe Vegas knows something we don't.
 
Wyoming is 1-11-1 ATS at home since October 2013. Yes, the Pokes have covered a spread *once* since Oct. 2013. Hate to say it, but the smart money absolutely lies with UNR. A few gamblers I check with are saying to run with this spread and never look back. Obviously hoping they're incorrect.
 
+7 my eyes damn near fell outta my head on that one, lol, but I think we'll get this one and UNLV, the State of Nevada will have nothing on us, but that's all the W's i see here this year
