Wyoming opens +18 vs. App State

It sounds like flooding rain on Saturday in Boone. I know Vegas knows this, but shouldn't that tighten the spread a little? 25 points seems like a lot in torrential downpours.

Rain leads to running the ball, which leads to many long rushing TDs given up by Wyoming.

This will be Wyoming's toughest game this year to date. App St. is better than Washington St. and New Mexico.

They have 20 starters back the most of any team in the nation from last years team going against the youth of Wyoming.

Also this is an early morning start all the way on the East coast down south.

App St. held a top 15 possibly top 10 Clemson team at Clemson to under 400 yards of total offense and was able to run the ball for over 200 yards on them. They also ran the ball for over 300 yards last week and shut out their other two opponents.

The rain will only effect the game if it is coming down like a hurricane. Wind effects football games a lot more than rain does.

The only possible way Wyoming could cover this spread was if it is raining like a hurricane. Otherwise App St. -25 is the way to go. There is a reason the line went from -18 all the way up to 25 because it was way too low. If you could have gotten App St. -18 if would have been a great bet . At -25 a little more iffy but still overall a good bet. No way I would take Wyoming. Assuming the weather isn't too bad then App St. will win by 4+ TD's.

If you want to bet Wyoming you are better off saving your money this week. :twocents:

You're right. I am in the pacific time zone and am used to seeing Eastern times and having to take 3 hours off and my ESPN had the game showing as starting at 12:30 and i was thinking it was Eastern but it was actually set to Pacific. My bad.

I don't think that will matter though.

You're right. I am in the pacific time zone and am used to seeing Eastern times and having to take 3 hours off and my ESPN had the game showing as starting at 12:30 and i was thinking it was Eastern but it was actually set to Pacific. My bad.

Yeah, we'll get our ass kicked regardless of what time it is. I just wanted to make sure I had the right time so I can witness it myself lol

:lol: I wish i would be wrong but handicapping this game I don't really see any other outcome unless a miracle happens like a hurricane.
