Wyoming opens +18 vs. App State

LOL wow. If I went back in time to 2004 when Wyoming beat App State 53-7 on opening day and told you all that in 11 years, Wyoming would play this FCS team on the road and be 18-point dogs, you would all send me to the hospital to get my head checked.
 
My off shore casino, 5 dimes, has it at 21.5. That seems like an awfully big number. I went against us last week but I will take us this week. This is Appalachian state for god's sake. The line is bigger for this game than Washington State?
They beat Howard and Old dominion. BFD.
 
I can't see us winning this game. Hell, we might be facing a goose egg for this season. But I feel we cover. Maybe we can replace Cowboy Tough, with Cowboy Pride.
 
I was wondering when we'd start getting trolled by fellow conference mates.

Thanks. It's always nice to blow them out. I actually flew out for the game then got back here this evening. I'm kinda glad I went to two SJSU games these last 3 weeks instead of the Eastern Michigan and New Mexico games here. I'll be at all the other games here though.

WRT the "trolling", I don't want to buy a shirt from the bookstore that says "Cowboy Pride" on it for a Fan Friday game day shirt. I'll stick to the other 3 I have so far.
 
It is mind-boggling when you think about it. I'm leaning towards picking Wyo to cover though.
 
I'd be shocked if UW is able to cover this spread.

It will come down to how well our offense performs because there is no way we hold App State under 50 points. Outside of the Boise State game, I think this is UW's largest blow out loss of the year. This one is going to be ugly.

I don't get what you are saying...are you of thought that Wyoming +20 (or more) is a good bet?

I think the vaunted Wyoming defense will give up 56 +/- points. Now I just have to decide if we are going to see the Wyoming offense that scored 13 against North Dakota, or the one that scored 29 against Eastern Whatever. So I guess that means, anything that is Wyoming +44 (or more) is a lock?

If we give up 56 pts to a sunbelt team, then I don't watch anymore the rest of the year. If this coach is any good at all, then this team should improve, not regress. This so reminds of heath. Oh, he has to change the culture and the program was completely broken and he didn't have any players and it takes years and years to build a program. It's all horseshit. Were in the middle of year 2 and if the players on the field can't compete with a sunbelt team, then I can't possibly see how this will improve. Unless, that is, you buy the old Joe Glenn excuse: "we need more birthdays".

I'm with ya, if we get smoked then I "follow" the Pokes but my support is done after this one, sure hope they prove me wrong
