I was going to scold you for leaving off Marcus Epps...then I realized he changed numbers. Logan Wilson is not a special teams guy or an in case of injury guy. He finished spring as the #1 weak side LB and is there also on the newly released fall depth chart.

The depth chart I was looking at didn't have him listed there.. I'll go hunt it down tonight and see what's up.

That's what the coaches said... But the kid had an offer to Columbia, so I doubt that was accurate

Wow, that is a young defense. Of the 8 guys listed in the secondary, the oldest is the 1 Junior and NO seniors. Overall, the defense has 22 players listed, only 4 are seniors and only 2 are juniors. If this defense can show some improvement this season, that will be very promising going forward.

Last year, every game, (almost every defensive play), every comment would be, "We have the youngest team in D1 football..." or "Our defense is so young." Unfortunately, I don't feel we can use this as an excuse this year. Many of these guys have an entire year of experience now. Time to start seeing results.

Last year, we had so much youth and inexperience with almost no experienced depth that I gave our DC a pass. This year, there are no excuses - as WYO1016 said. I understand we are still young but no longer inexperienced. I believe the new S & C staff will pay dividends as well. We are getting there, but it has sure been a long dry spell. Coach Bohl will have some evaluating of players, coaches, & coordinators to do at the end of this season.
