As usual Wyoming blows coverage and gives up a 50+ yard TD pass never ceases to amaze me they always manage to blow coverage to bad it makes them look like a High School team.

Fire Tormey, whoever said he doesn't have the talent to run his defense is stupid. He is a garbage coach. Bring in a Manny Diaz type to fire up the defense, and one that can teach. I don't care about injuries, a Wyoming defense that would be ranked 60th would be 2-3 additional wins for Wyoming. I like DC, but Tormey is horrible. Start over on defense.

Ya defense needs loads of help, You can only blame the first 3-4 games of the year on experience and age. If you are still giving up 50+ yard plays to wide open receivers every game of the season you have a much bigger issue than " inexperienced players or injury " You have players that simply don't understand defensive play calling or are not being coached properly at all.

Wyoming fans are not asking for a top 10 defense, they are asking for a decent defense that brings their lunch pails to the game and wins. The talent is there with the speed, but let's be honest. The scheme has been terrible all season. Tormey needs to go into broadcasting, plenty of coaches out there. I like Vance Joseph myself.

Is it too much to ask for a decent defense? Like, getting at least some pressure in passing situations and not leaving WRs wide open for big TDs? Especially against really bad passing QBs?

The D-line actually has been doing a decent job with stuffing up the middle, even with being thin on depth. The issue though, is that the teams just end up hitting the edge, block Ghaali Muhammed, and get big yards on the run. This really sucks.

So the secondary is garbage and the defense overall is terrible. How has DC not fired Tormey yet? He was a garbage LB coach at Washington State, why not bring in a good LB coach from a successful defense? Burman should be on the hot seat also.
