Shyatt was pretty pissed during the radio interview. said of Martinez's 1 on 1 during the end of the game "1 of our very very very very very very very few free throws". also implied that he really wanted to rip the refs but it's something he can't do. said, "there were some things beyond our control, I feel bad for our kids".
We did miss a lot of shots down low, but they were definitely letting UNM play real physical. I can think of a few that's for sure. If it wasn't for Washington being all man, I'm not sure we could have scored anything down low the way we were getting molested.

I thought that our guys played amazing defense. How many of our misses could be attributed to the fact that our guys just didn't have the legs to power through the contact down low or the legs to shoot from the perimeter correctly?
This was the game where the opponents were most obviously more fresh at the end of the game and they rebounded like it and defended like it.

Refs sucked ass but at the same time we need to hit shots when it counts.
Two things that really stood out about the way the game was called though. That play that the broadcast called the drive of the game. The kid dribbled, jumped up to shoot, came down, dribbled and then ran in for a lay up. Most blatant traveling call I have EVER seen.
Then when they just started calling fouls on Wyo for no reason. It was a 2 point game and Wyo had 3 fouls to give before they start shooting. So they call 3 in 0 seconds of playing time. It basically said to me that the refs wanted the game to have a bigger margin for NM.
Im sick to death of watching Wyoming get screwed over every game. Its not fair to the kids or the fans. They do the same shit to CSU until they play Wyoming and then it swings the way of CSU. I have noticed this in other conferences as well. Its bullshit

That drive, I screamed at the TV - and couldn't believe they didn't call it. It was a travel, a double dribble on the same drive!
