Nope instead we just play not to lose fucking useless taking a knee go after the end-zone i swear were going to lose to conservative play calling.

Hard to move the distance of the field in 20 seconds, and you risk turnover. I don't hate that call.

We had timeouts we could have called, we could have preserved the clock and played to win for a change.

I have to agree with that. We've already had two turnovers, no need for a third where the offense misses an important tackle or two.

Now the real question is - what adjustments will we make for the second half? It feels as if we haven't used half our offensive playbook yet. If the defense keeps playing well against the run, we can still take this. That last interception completely saved the game. Hopefully we won't win due to injuring their QB, though.

I always thought a fake "take a knee" and go deep would be a good move.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can "fake" taking a knee. You can fake spiking the ball to stop the clock, but I think once you go into that victory formation and simulate the action of going down to a knee you can't run a normal play. Not sure if that's right or not...I just seem to remember hearing something along those lines once.

Smith seems a little out of rythm, hopefully the rust comes off here in the third quarter. I missed the begining of the game who gets the ball first in the second half?

Yeah, I agree. Unload the whole playbook if you need to. There may be a chance for a shocker here.....especially if Fajardo is hurt.

To be honest I don't know if that is a rule, but I can see it being a "attempt to decieve" penalty or something of the like.

If Fajardo is out I think the pokes win this thing by two scores, especially if we continue to stop their run.

Two rather big ifs. But I agree, I'd give us a pretty good chance of winning this if that happened.

With or without Fajardo, we need to win if this season is gonna amount to anything. Whether its by a point or two TD's i dont care just WIN!!

Fresno only up 14-0 on CSU. Needed a long TD at the end of the half to make it that score.

For sure - we're not going to have a winning season without winning this one, but on the other hand - I really thought they'd run all over us all day long, and that really hasn't been the case. They're averaging 2.9 YPC. Obviously that's because we've sold out against the run a bit, but whatever.

Whats crazy is were able to stop the run, but they are passing all over us. Its like they focused on the run to much and didnt bother with passing at all
