Thank you so much Brett for being a class act and being a leader of the team. You showed great uncanny ability to be an idiot about a no call and show boating on a touchdown. Great job DC. Really Colby on a 3 and 1, Jason has shown enough ability to remember a play and hand off to a running back? Defense actually play well enough to win the game.
 
This one is on Smith and the Coaching staff for not even having the balls to try and make a play at the end of the half or the end of the 4th. Conservative play calling costs us yet again.

Smith was not good this game. He made some awful throws, got picked deep, and literally dropped one ball on the ground. No one hit him, he just lost it. The defense showed, but Smith was below average today.....and he made it worst be screaming at an official!
 
That one goes squarely on DC's shoulders. I would outright quit coaching if I just coached a game that poorly. Less, LESS than 1 yard to end the game and not have to rely on our defense to win it. It's a no brainer in my mind

I think you are a little off. Even with smith we are not near top 25. You have to have a good defense to be near top 25.

He definitely didn't showboat on a TD that was a bullshit call, But he never should have yelled at the official that is the coaches job. Our coaches however are spineless cowards and won't do shit anyway.

Now back to the end of the game, Nevada had a 1st down on the 4 yard line so it was 1st and goal from the 4. They got an unsportsmanlike penalty 15 yards which should have made it 1st and goal from the 19. Why did they get a 1st down @ the 9 and a new set of downs?

The refs cost us the game a long time before the other idiocy came about but I have never seen a 1st and goal from the 4 go to 1st and 10 from the 19 that doesn't make any fucking sense at all.

Brett was not over the top, every other ref in the country wouldn't be making those calls. We own this game if not for those awful unsportmans like conduct plays. He wasn't flipping off refs, he wasn't doing anything that he doesn't normally do. That ref just had something up his ass tonight. The ref changed this game

Will Brett be able to play next week? I don't know the D1 rules but in high school you don't get to play the next week either.

You do NOT yell at the refs after you already got an Unsportsmanlike. NEVER. EVER.

That's squarely on Smith's shoulders no matter what.
