Wyoming natives who went pro

Working on a small project.. but basically, who are the Wyoming natives who have went to the NFL/CFL/World, etc. I have Casey Bramlet, John Wendling, and Chris Prosinski... who am I missing?

I think Jim Crawford, UW's first ever all-American who went on to play for Denver and the Patriots in the old AFL, is from Greybull.
 
Aaron Elling played some ball. Went to high school in Lander. Native....as in born? I was born in idaho but moved here when I was like 2 but I consider myself native.

Also, you are mentioning UW grads or just Wyoming kids? or wyoming kids that went to UW and then pros?

Just confirmed it. Jim was in fact in born in Wyoming.

Played for the AFL's Boston Patriots for 5 years. I actually met him in 1995.
 
does it matter what level of pro? cause didn't corey bramlet spend some time in europe and canada as well?

The attached file has a list of former Wyoming players who got drafted. Doesn't list FA's.

I see a few guys who played on Wyoming high school teams on that list.

Jerry Hill of Lingle (born in Torrington). Went to UW and on to Baltimore Colts. Was on the team that Joe Namath and the Jets beat in Super Bowl III.

He scored the only touchdown for the Colts that night in Miami vs. the Jets.
 
Tom Wilkinson. UW QB

2 years old when he moved to Greybull Does that count?.. played at UW and won several grey cups with Edmonton

dewey mcconnell was drafted to the LA rams in 1952


you are either thinking of truett smith who was wyoming's first drafted player who went to the steelers in 1950 or jim crawford who also went to the steelers in 1957

dewey mcconnell was drafted to the LA rams in 1952

Crawford played for Denver and Boston in the 1960s.

Crawford played for Denver and Boston in the 1960s.
