Wyoming-Montana Game Thread

For a team with so little inexperience on the OL, UM is giving Johnson time on 3-step drop backs! That is unacceptable.

He gets back there quickly and gets rid of it pretty fast, though. The main issue has been his evasiveness.

Montana is the one making plays. Pokes have had opportunities for turnovers (tipped screen, ball thrown right into Puletasi's chest, the almost fumble, etc.) but haven't converted anything and the offense has controlled the ball with not much to show for it and a turnover.

NDSU fans said Vigen's play-calling would annoy us. Why this team is getting away from the early power-run game is beyond me.

Offensive line is really suspect, Man this is going to be a long year if they can't open holes for the backs.

I think it's safe to say that Kirkegaard's not the answer. Aside from his two really dumb turnovers, he's also made a couple of throws where he stared down his receiver and a better linebacking corps would've picked it off.

Bad. Bad. Bad.

Time to try someone else under center. The only reason he is out there is to be the "safe QB". If he refuses to do that, then bench him and try someone else.
