Wyoming "Locked In" to Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

They will blow our doors off. Joe Glenn won't even be there to flip them off.

Please let it be NMSU in Tucson.

I don't know that Utah would blow the doors off Wyoming. There are a few issues with that game, Utah would feel snubbed to be playing in what they would perceive a bad bowl and I can't see there guys fired up for it.

Second I know that Utah has not played well against teams with a good defense, they really don't have much of an offense. I think our defense would keep us in that game.

I would put Utah as a worse team than both Iowa and Oregon and would put them on the same level as the top of our conference. We were very competitive against both teams at the top of the conference and see no reason we wouldn't be competitive against Utah. I don't think our offense will have much luck against them but we have had very few wins where our offense carried us this season.
Anyone with an effective scoring offense will blow our doors off.

We lost to SJSU... yeah, I'm just happy we won't play an FCS team in whatever bowl we get.

Exactly...thinking we could hang with Utah is a fool's errand. I think our defense would hold them to less than 24 points if they weren't on the field the entire game. However, with an inept offense going 3 and out and punting a dozen times (or more), I think the score would more resemble the Oregon game.

I disagree fully I think that if we play Utah it's a game similar to our games with Boise and Fresno State with a low scoring game and two great defenses playing with subpar offensive games. This is not the Utah that dominated the MWC.

Are they better than the Spartans?

It's easy to forget that one week prior to our worst performance we played within one score of beating the team that came three points from winning the conference. San Jose State was a bad loss but in no way shape or form was representative of what our team is capable of.

Well, in truth, is IS representative of what our team is capable of

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one. If you watched Utah their last game against CU, they had good offensive production (Moss had 196 yds. rushing, Henry-Cole had 79, and Williams threw for 181), all of their skill players looked super quick, and they have a bad ass defense. I don't see our offense (especially with Smith at QB) even sniffing the end zone against their D. So, unless our D can pitch a shutout, we are going to get smoked if we play Utah. Hopefully it will happen and we can see who is correct.

I don't know if it's significant or not but either he hasn't gotten the memo of wyoming being "locked in" to a bowl or he doesn't believe they are locked in to the bowl game.

Glad the defense gets another game to rack up some more stats too bad that shits in Boise definitely not going there.

Either way, its pretty well on that the Pokes are headed back to Boise.

Though the sheep may not get in, maybe, the way things are going.
