Wyoming is 6-0!

The out of conference schedule definitely gets tougher from here on out. All of our wins so far have come against teams likely to end the season with sub-200 RPI's. Our remaining out of conference games are mostly against teams who will probably have RPI's in the top 200 at the conclusion of the season (sans Panhandle State and our rematch with CSUB). Two of those teams, Colorado and Illinois State, have a good chance to be NCAA tournament teams and in the top 25 when everything is said and done.

I like the way this out of conference schedule set up. Tougher on the back-end. That will prepare this teams better for conference play because our conference is going to be brutally tough this year.

Agreed. We have got to keep focus and win Wednesday. I really think Shyatt has a gameplan for CU and it does not involve bringing in all our back ups. There is going to be a heavy dose of Leonard against CU.

I hope we don't have biased officials in the CU game like we did last night. Two of those officials had an agenda (especially in the second half) and it didn't favor Wyoming.

Are you being serious? Those certainly were not the best referees, but I didn't get the feeling that they favored one team more than the other at all. In fact, they called 30 fouls on CSUB and only 23 on the Pokes.

You think the officials developed an anti-Wyoming bias at halftime? What in the world would cause them to become biased against a team in the middle of a game? Shyatt isn't exactly a coach known to ride the referees hard, so I can't imagine it was that.

It seems that somebody is always convinced that the referees have it out for Wyoming in every single game we play. In reality, the referees miss and get calls wrong against both the Pokes and their opponents on a fairly even basis. It's just that most fans choose to ignore the horrible calls that favor the Pokes.

Yeah, not the best refs, but I would not say biased. I think they just wouldn't let much contact, if any, or saw contact that wasn't there for either team.

What game were you watching? Did you not see the kind of defense CSU B was playing. It's a wonder they didn't have 50 fouls called on them. It sure looked to me like the officials had it in for Gillmore & Washington - maybe they were just trying to even out the foul counts. I think they would have gone after Cooke too if they could have found any way to justify it. I was close enough to the action that I didn't have any trouble seeing this, but I also saw us get the benefit of a couple of calls too.

After this train wreck of a footblal season, it's awesome the basketball team is doing so well. Even the girls have it rolling! The schedule gets tougher, for sure. I'm very curious to see how the team fares against Colorado. I think that came will be a real barometer as to where the team is at.

it's going to be interesting these next 3, then drop off a bit b4 conference, but truly feel it's just what the doctor ordered b4 we truly see what kind of team we'll have going into Conference. They are fun to watch and so far Leonard looks truly focused and a mini Manimal, like Faried in Denver...lol

Let's hope we pack the AA for a nationally ranked team coming to us, (outside of UNLV or SDSU)
