I know some of you care more than others, and I could really care less but I saw last night that Evanston beat Kelly Walsh in the state semi finals on a buzzer beater layup in OT to let them play for the state championship.
The kid from Evanston who made the shot is also the kid who blocked Campbell Counties game winning shot last year in the state championship game in OT.
Looks like the Red Devils are playing Riverton for the championship game tonight and a chance to win back to back state titles.
Evanston and Riverton were scheduled to play twice this season but the first game got postponed, and they did a double header at the end of the season before regionals. They split, both teams winning by about 10 or so.
Should be a good game.
I don't think there are any d1 prospects on either team though.
